🚒🚑🚓❤️💙
Happy National First Responders Day!

Today, we recognize and thank all first responders for the dedication, and compassion you bring to serving others and protecting our communities.

Behind every call is someone willing to show up, make sacrifices, and help others when they need it most. That commitment means more than words can express, and it never goes unnoticed.

To all who serve, thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you today and always!

Raisin Township would like to thank DTE for their generous donation of this 2027 Polaris 1000 side-by-side!

We will be purchasing a skid unit for it that will include a water tank and pump for off-road fire operations, along with the capability of hauling patients from off road areas to an awaiting ambulance for transport to the hospital.

This unit will also be utilized for search and rescue, along with event standbys.

Again, we would like to thank DTE for their generous donation of this valuable piece of equipment!

This weekend, our very own Jada, Madison, and Sophie took part in an all-female vehicle extrication class!
We’re proud to see them building skills, gaining experience, and growing in the fire service!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and helped make tonight such a success! ❤️🎃
It was such a busy, fun-filled night!

One of the best parts of nights like this is seeing our community come together.
To everyone who volunteered their time, donated supplies or treats, or contributed in any way, you helped make this night possible! It truly takes a village, and we're lucky to have such wonderful friends and neighbors who show up to make events like this possible!

🎃🍬❤️🚒🚑

If you took any pictures tonight, share them in the comments below! We'd love to see everyone's favorite moments!

🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Month: Have a Home Escape Plan! 🏠

Having a fire escape plan can help keep you and your family safe in an emergency! Make sure everyone knows how to get out and where to meet once they're safely outside.

• Make a plan
• Know two ways out of every room
• Choose a safe outdoor meeting spot
• Practice your escape plan with your family
• Once you're out, stay out!

A few minutes of planning and practicing can make all the difference!

🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Month: Smoke Alarms Save Lives! 🔥🚒

When was the last time you checked your smoke alarms?

Taking a few minutes to test your alarms, replace old units, and make sure your family has an escape plan can make a lifesaving difference in an emergency.

Test them monthly!

Make sure you have alarms in the right places!

Have an escape plan and practice it together!

And remember, if your smoke alarm starts chirping, don't ignore it! It may be warning you that the battery needs attention or that the alarm needs to be replaced.

A little preparation today can help protect the people you love tomorrow! ❤️
