⏳ 19 DAYS TO GO: Keeping a Positive Focus 🌟🗳️🇺🇸

We are officially 19 days away from the General Election on November 3rd, and only 4 days away from the start of Early Voting on Monday, October 19th!

With the election quickly approaching, it is no secret that campaign season can get grueling. Between signs being damaged and the general noise of politics, it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters.

From day one, I made a promise to myself and to this town: to run a positive, respectful campaign focused entirely on the future of Elm Springs. 🏡✨

I truly believe that how you run a campaign is a direct reflection of how you will govern. That is why I am committed to keeping a positive attitude and focusing my energy on:

👂 Listening to your concerns and neighborhood safety issues.

🗺️ Planning for our infrastructure, responsible growth, and a revitalized downtown.

🤝 Unifying our community so everyone feels they have a voice at City Hall.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of the neighbors, volunteers, and friends who have kept this campaign energized, positive, and focused on the good work ahead. Your encouragement is what keeps me moving forward every single day!

Let's keep our focus positive, respect one another, and let the voters decide. I would be deeply honored to have your vote to serve as your next Mayor! 🗳️🤝

Thank you for serving your community ~ Communities need strong leaders!

Not candidates that haven't voted since 2002 and "claims" that they are now serving the city already!

Elm Springs deserve honest committed leaders ~ Ms. Peters is that.

13 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY! 🗳️

The Story Behind My Decision to Run for Mayor

Throughout my 14 years serving on the Elm Springs City Council, I’ve had numerous residents encourage me to consider running for Mayor. Your confidence in me over the years has always meant more than you probably realize.

For a long time, however, I knew I wasn't in a position to dedicate the time, energy, and full attention that I believe the office—and the people of Elm Springs—truly deserve. So I continued serving our community through City Council in the best capacity I could.

Over the last couple of years, someone very special in my life kept encouraging me to reconsider: my daughter. ❤️

She encouraged me to think seriously, pray about the decision, and consider what I might be able to accomplish in a different leadership role for our town. Even when I questioned whether the timing was right or whether I was ready, her belief in me never wavered.

As a mother, I’ve spent much of my life believing in her, encouraging her dreams, and reminding her of everything she’s capable of achieving. It has been a deeply moving, surreal experience to have those roles reversed—and to realize just how much her encouragement and faith have lifted me up.

Ultimately, her unwavering belief gave me the courage to take this leap and run for Mayor.

Whatever happens on November 3rd, I will always be profoundly grateful to the neighbors and friends who encouraged me along the way—and to my daughter, who helped me believe that this was a step I was ready to take.

Serving Elm Springs has been one of the great privileges of my life, and I would be honored to have your trust and your vote as your next Mayor.

14 DAYS TO GO: A moment of gratitude, reflection, and listening. 🗳️✨

Last night, I exercised my right to vote—and had the surreal experience of seeing my own name on the ballot for Mayor of Elm Springs.

It brought the magnitude of this opportunity deeply into focus: the immense responsibility of leading our town into its next generation while fiercely protecting what makes it so special.

Throughout the day yesterday, neighbors stopped me around town and sent texts saying, "I voted for you!" Each and every message was an honor and a humbling reminder of the trust behind every single vote. That trust is something I will never, ever take lightly.

Elm Springs is such a special place to call home—a beautiful hamlet nestled in the heart of Northwest Arkansas. It deserves leadership that truly treasures its character, listens to its residents, and approaches its future with care, transparency, and purpose.

To those who have already cast your ballot for me, and to those who plan to in the coming days: THANK YOU! Your encouragement, kind words, and confidence mean more than I can adequately express.

And if you are still deciding, I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust.

💬 What questions can I answer to help you make your decision?
Whether it’s about smart growth, preserving our community character, or city planning, leave a comment below or send me a direct message. I am here to listen, and I would love to hear from you.

SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE ~

We flew in for our wonderful visit back in Arkansas only to see the same crap different day!

We took a drive down Arbor Acres and it looks like the 4th planting of trees have all died on Waste Management Eco-Vista property AGAIN.

One of the first signs of toxic fume chemical poisoning is usually in the vegetation in the area ~ hence the trees that keep dying.

I was told in 2024 by MANY local drivers that they were, at that time, watering the trees with the contaminated leachate pond, that has NO fish or anything living in it. Hmmmm, that's scary, huh?

Waste Management Eco-Vista isn't going to clean up their act till ADEQ actually does it's job. The dump has expired and the State needs to find another way of disposing of NWA trash.

Tontitown has suffered the most. Trust me folks, in due time, there will be a dateline or movie of the week about the devastation that this one multi-billion dollar company DID TO Tontitown.

What I just discovered is the house, that the well was tested, by the reporter for her article on Waste Management, you know the one that tested for forever chemicals and failed the test miserably, was purchased mysteriously for above market value right after that article posted. I think, I will do a quick dive to find the new owner ~ could it be an employee of WM-EV? Who knows, but I believe something is fishy here.

The house sits vacant and boarded up...hmmm I doubt it is ever lived in again.

Tontitown residents are selling their homes right and left. The housing market has dropped everywhere, but watch the dive Tontitown takes. I know of 8 families leaving Tontitown because of the dump and their health.

Good luck Tontitown ~ you are going to need more than luck to survive this one!🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️

DUE TO CRAZY I PUT MY PAGE COMMENTS ON HOLD.

Fact ~ these trees where already dying a year ago. Several folks have been documenting these trees DEATHS FOR YEARS. We all have pictures to back my statement up. Last year wasn't a harass summer.

I have no problem with opposition on my comments ~ I do have a problem with insults, continuing to poke the bear for fun. My page and I don't have to put up with you. If I got on your Personal Page and continue a thread of posts that you didn't like wouldn't YOU block me?

Yes, you would, as you should.

Now, if you don't like MY page or ME ~ bye bye! You don't have to read my page. I am totally fine with that. You have that freedom as do I.

I don't make ANY money on this page ~ zip, zero, nata. I don't put in print what I cannot back up with tubs of paperwork I have saved over the past 13 years.

I can voice my opinion and that's all it is ~ my opinion. I usually use words like I think, I feel, I have no doubt, I believe. Key word is [I] meaning ME ~ my thoughts may not line with yours. I am Okie Dokie with that, but YOU won't attack me on MY page. I will block 🚫 you ~ my right, as it should be.
