The Trumann Police Department is seeking candidates for the position of Dispatcher. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring public safety within our community.
Position: Dispatcher
Salary: $35,360.00 per year (New Hire, Uncertified) - $38.596.00 (Certified, Off-Probation)
**Paid Training Provided**

Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls
- Dispatch appropriate units in response to calls for service
- Maintain accurate records and logs of communications
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel as needed
- Provide support and assistance to field units and other departments
- Monitor various systems and alarms

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient in computer use
- Prior experience in dispatching or related field preferred, but not required

🚧 WATER OUTAGE NOTICE – LUNSFORD

The City of Trumann would like to inform residents that there is a water leak on Lunsford that is currently being repaired. Water service will be temporarily shut off while crews work to make the necessary repairs.

At this time, we do not know how long the water will be off. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Big News!
A couple months ago, I visited with the owner of Southern BBQ on Hilltop in Jonesboro about putting in a restaurant in Trumann. Today, he called and told me to announce that he will have a food truck on the north end of town and will put in a drive through BBQ at the old Busy Bean on 463 by the catwalk. His plans are to be open in the middle of November. Not a sit down restaurant, but a new place to get some good food. Welcome to Trumann Southern BBQ!

⚠️ NATURAL GAS MAIN RUPTURED – SOUTH END OF TOWN

The City of Trumann would like to inform the community that a natural gas main has been ruptured on the south end of town.

Summit is on site and addressing the situation. At this time, there is no danger to the public. However, residents in the area may notice the smell of natural gas.
