🎃Fourth-grade Outlook students got a big surprise on Friday when our school nurse, Mrs. Lindsey Newsome, delivered baby pumpkins for them to care for!

This special project has a long history! It was first started by Mrs. Wanda Simmons in 1997 with her second-grade class. What a wonderful way to keep a sweet tradition growing!🎃

We are so proud of these students who were selected by their teachers for exemplifying the character trait of !
Before the ceremony, students enjoyed a fun Student of the Month coloring and word-find activity. During the ceremony, Mrs. Southall called each student up and shared a special note written by their teacher about why they were chosen for demonstrating politeness. Each student received a certificate celebrating their accomplishment from Ms. Jessica!
Afterward, students enjoyed a donut and juice with their families!
