Ventura College, an accredited two-year institution of higher education, has been a part of this beautiful seaside community since 1925. It is conveniently located approximately 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. The 112-acre campus, set in the rolling hills of Ventura, has an enrollment of 14,000 students.

Congrats to our MESA grads! 🚀✨🎓
🧡We love celebrating your success and know you’ll go far as you as you transfer to universities including UCLA, USC, UC Irvine, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CSUCI, UC Davis, and more.
Before graduation MESA hosted a Transfer Banquet and Awards Celebration honoring the hard work and achievements of 25 students pursuing degrees in calculus-based STEM fields.
🎥🎬A highlight was the premiere of an original documentary film directed and edited by Justin Arbaiza, Ventura College Physics and Engineering Tutor. The film captured the stories, experiences, and resilience of MESA students.
🏆The evening also included the presentation of awards recognizing leadership, service, and dedication to student success. Erick Meza received the 2026 M.E.S.A. Outstanding Student Leader Award in recognition of his exceptional leadership, dedication, and positive impact within the M.E.S.A. community.

Congratulations, Pirates!!
The Ventura College beach volleyball team had four pairs win the Top Flight Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 2026 season. The Pirates' No. 1 duo of Shai Daniels and Viola Barrios, No. 2's Sadie Lishman and Jocelyn Alfar, the No. 3 team of Monaye Ramessar an Addison Olson, and the 4's pair of Madison Mierau and Biera Boyso all earned distinction from the national coaches organization. Ventura College head women's soccer coach Steve Hoffman has been tabbed for induction into the US Youth Soccer Hall of Fame. The announcement was made by Cal South, the official youth and adult state soccer association of the United States Soccer Federation, US Youth Soccer, and the United States Adult Soccer Association. The 30-year veteran Pirate coach was also the Director of Coaching Education and Player Development for the organization for 28 years before his retirement in 2024.
