Lake Air Montessori in Waco ISD Waco ISD established its first Montessori magnet school in 1994 at the Doris Miller campus.

In 1998, the campus relocated to our next home at 3005 Edna Avenue and changed names to Lake Waco Montessori. The growth and interest in Montessori education has continued to thrive ever since. The 2012-2013 academic year marked the first time the Lake Air Montessori campus opened its doors as Montessori programs were consolidated for Waco ISD. Our success and continued improvement is attributed to the support of the district and our solid base in Montessori instruction. To read more about Montessori training we suggest a few sites. 🎃🦸‍♀️ DAY 4: HEROIC HALLOWEEN – “MASK” OUT DRUGS! 🦸‍♂️🎃

Our Leopards are closing out Red Ribbon Week with a SUPER fun Friday! 🐆❤️

Today, October 30th, our campus was filled with Halloween spirit as students and staff dressed up in their favorite costumes for Heroic Halloween! 👻🎃

From spooky fun to creative costumes, we had a blast reminding everyone that you don’t need a mask to be a hero! The real superpower is making healthy choices and choosing to live a drug-free life! 💪❤️

As we wrap up Red Ribbon Week, remember:

🌟 Be a hero.
🌟 Make healthy choices.
🌟 Stand strong.
🌟 Stay DRUG FREE!

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated and helped make this week SUPER! 🦸‍♀️

🐾🌟 LEADING LEOPARD SPOTLIGHT! 🌟🐾

A HUGE round of applause for this week’s Leading Leopard, Ms. Gutierrez! 🐆👏

Although this is her first year teaching this grade level after relocating to Waco, Ms. Gutierrez has stepped into the classroom with the confidence, warmth, and grace of a seasoned educator.

From day one, she has created a classroom where students feel safe, valued, heard, and excited to learn. Her positivity, genuine kindness, and enthusiasm for learning alongside her students make a difference every single day.

Families appreciate her open communication and dedication to meeting each child’s individual needs. Whether she’s providing one-on-one support, celebrating student accomplishments on her classroom Brag Board, or showing up with unwavering dedication, Ms. Gutierrez consistently goes above and beyond.

Her passion for teaching, resilience, and heart for children are what make her such a special part of our Lake Air family.

Thank you, Ms. Gutierrez, for leading with heart and making a lasting difference in the lives of our Leopards! ❤️🐾

With caramel, chocolate, sprinkles, cookies, and all kinds of tasty toppings, our staff got to create their own little apple masterpieces!

Sam, thank you for thinking of our staff and adding a little extra sweetness to our day! We appreciate you! ❤️

Because at LAMM, even our apples have a little Leopard magic! 🐾🍎
