Mrs. Lang’s math students put their skills to the test with a fun, real-world budgeting challenge! Students planned a meal using a Lopez menu, working to see whose order could get closest to $40 without going over their budget. 💵

Of course, the activity was even better with chips and salsa to enjoy while they worked! 🥑🧀

Who knew math could be so delicious? 😋 We love seeing our students apply what they learn in the classroom to real-life situations!

Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting members of the 2026 Auburn University Livestock Judging Team who have represented our program over the past year! Join us in recognizing and supporting each of these team members.

Aubrie Rexwinkle is from Wagoner, Oklahoma, and is currently a Senior majoring in Agricultural Communications. She grew up raising and showing sheep at the state and national level alongside her family, who also own and operate Rexwinkle Livestock. After graduating from High School, she attended Northern Oklahoma College, where she was a member of the Livestock Judging Team and obtained her Associate’s Degree. After graduating from Auburn University, she plans to go back to her roots in Northeast Oklahoma and continue to raise sheep and work within the agriculture industry.

One of Aubrie’s favorite judging memories is competing at the San Antonio Livestock Show and receiving High Individual in Sheep and Third High Individual Overall, as well as competing at the American Royal and receiving Second High Individual in Sheep and Goats and placing in the Top 10 in both Reasons and Overall.

“I’m extremely thankful to my parents, my brother, Aiden, my family, and past and present coaches for pushing me to achieve my goals, never letting me give up on myself, and helping me become who I am today. I am also incredibly thankful for the memories, friendships, and opportunities I have gained during my time at Auburn University. From the people I have met to the experiences I have shared through the College of Agriculture and livestock judging, my time at Auburn has been some of the most fun and rewarding years of my life. I will always be grateful for the people who made Auburn feel like home and for the memories I will carry with me long after graduation.”
