The Festival of Trees is almost here!

Join us November 9th–12th at Abilities, LLC for four days of holiday fun, all while supporting the Johnson County Board of Services Foundation!

This year, we've expanded to FOUR days, with something fun planned for everyone! From our Jingle & Java kickoff and Ladies Bunco & PJ Night to Military Appreciation Night and our Family Night Finale, there's plenty to look forward to. Don't forget, we'll also be open during lunch hours throughout the week so you can stop by, check out the decorated trees, wreaths, and stockings, and purchase raffle tickets!

All events are free to attend, except for Ladies Bunco & PJ Night, which requires a $20 ticket to play.

November is National Family Caregivers Month!

This month, we recognize the family members, friends, and loved ones who dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to caring for others.

Caregiving comes with both rewarding moments and challenges, and we know how important it is for caregivers to feel supported, appreciated, and connected to resources.

At JCBS, we see the difference caregivers make every day in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. To all the caregivers in our community, thank you for everything you do. Your dedication does not go unnoticed!

Connect2Care is officially LIVE! 💙

Our new Facebook group was created to help connect families looking for support with people in our community interested in providing it. Whether you’re a family looking for a respite care provider or staff for self-directed services, or you’re someone interested in providing support, Connect2Care is a place to make those connections.

Finding dependable, compassionate support can be challenging for families of individuals with developmental disabilities. Sometimes, families have respite or SDS hours available but struggle to find the right person to provide that support.

That’s why JCBS is working on a new Facebook group to help connect families looking for support with experienced individuals interested in providing it.

Our goal is simple, to make it easier for families and potential support providers to find one another and start building connections.
