Who says learning about history, laws, and government can’t be sweet?! Yesterday, students celebrated our Third Annual Candy Salad in Ms. Stanisch's Social Studies class!
From studying the American Revolution and the creation of the Constitution to learning how our government makes laws, our students have been working hard to understand how our nation's past has shaped the country we live in today. Just like the Founding Fathers had to work together to build a new government, our students are learning the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and being part of a community! 📚🏦
Today was a chance to take a little break, enjoy a sweet treat, and build connections with our peers. Because learning history is about more than memorizing dates and events, it's about understanding people, working together, and making connections that last beyond the classroom.
A little history, a little government, and a whole lot of candy! 🍭❤💙 Here's to another sweet year of learning, growing, and making memories!
