Our first graders had so much fun on our learning bank field trip to MSUM! 🎶 We enjoyed a performance by Fuego Tropical and learned about the origins of different types of music. The learners loved dancing, singing along, and experiencing the music. 💃 🕺

A big shout to Mrs. Olson for teaching us Yellow Bird so we were prepared to participate! 🎤

Our kindergarteners have been busy building their early literacy skills! ✏️ Students practiced recognizing the letters in their names while strengthening their fine motor skills with stickers. They’ve also been putting their writing skills to work in their journals! 💚

5th Grade Students are working on Morphology in Phonics—they are learning about prefixes, suffixes, roots, and base words and using these parts to understand, spell, and build new words.

Mrs. Wimer’s 4th graders are using text evidence to make inferences with a fun “Scoot” activity! 🕵🏼‍♀️🥸 At each station, students analyze a store receipt and use clues to figure out what the shopper might be planning before “scooting” to the next station!

Our 3rd graders had a blast dancing in the gym today with the West Fargo High School mascot and dance team! 💚💃 Thank you for stopping by and bringing some fun and energy to our day!

🎃 🍂 Our first graders had SO much fun at the pumpkin patch last week! We got to see animals, ride the barrel train, climb hay bales, and even take home our very own pumpkins! 🧡

A big THANK YOU to out Eastwood PTO for making this fun fall experience possible for our first graders. We are so grateful! 🍁 🎃

Mrs. Livingood’s 2nd graders practiced combinations to 10 with a game of Memory Match! 🔢 A fun, hands-on way to build their number sense and practice their math skills! 💚

🧑‍🚒🚨 Future firefighters in training! Our Kindergarteners had an absolutely spectacular time on their field trip to the fire station today! 🚒❤️
The students got a front-row look at the big red trucks, learned all about important fire safety rules, and even got to see a firefighter put on their full gear! A huge thank you to the amazing local firefighters for welcoming our little learners and keeping our community safe. 🧑‍🚒👋
