The Westville Police Department is currently investigating a missing juvenile. The pictured juvenile was last seen in the area of 200 Block of Delsea Drive. If anyone has seen the juvenile please contact Westville Police Department at 856-456-0028.

******Fall Festival has been canceled.******

Dear Residents and Business Owners,

The Westville Fall Festival will take place this Saturday, September 26, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM. Please be advised that there will be no parking permitted on Broadway (both sides) starting at Delsea Drive down to Olive Street from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM on September 26, 2026. The Borough Hall Lot (165 and 167 Broadway) will also be closed for parking and any unauthorized vehicles will need to be removed by 6AM on 9-26-2026.

The Police Department will make every effort to contact the owner of any vehicle parked in violation during this time. However, if the owner cannot be reached, the vehicle will be towed. No Parking signs will be posted along Broadway in advance.

If you need further assistance, please call 856-456-0028. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to a safe and successful Fall Festival.

Camden and Gloucester Counties are experiencing another rise in vehicle burglaries and thefts to unlocked vehicles. Remember to lock your vehicles at all times and remove any all valuables. If you see something or someone committing suspicious activity, contact dispatch at 856-456-0028. Do not wait or take the time to post on social media before contacting the police.

*****Arrest Made*****

On 8-19-2026, Westville Police arrested Artavius Mears of Camden, NJ in connection with a stabbing that occurred on July 30, 2026 at the Westwood Manor Apartments (712 Broadway). Detective Shields conducted a thorough investigation resulting in the arrest. The officers and other agencies that assisted with the initial call did an excellent job and we thank them for their help.

Mears was charged with the following:

Aggravated Assault with a Weapon
Aggravated Assault
Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose
Possession of a Weapon

He was lodged in the Salem County Jail pending his court date. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
