Proud moment at the Gavin Foundation’s Anniversary Dinner, where Brewster’s Director of the Command Center, Ryan Whitcomb, was recognized for his outstanding and selfless service to the recovery community. Ryan’s dedication to others is exactly what we strive for at Brewster, and it’s an honor to celebrate him.

Congratulations, Ryan! Here’s to 9 years of sobriety this November 1st, a milestone that reflects real strength, perseverance, and the power of recovery.

Yesterday morning, a five-alarm fire on Spring Street in Brockton put five residents on the second floor at risk. Brewster crews responded and completed 11 transports in total, working side by side with the Brockton Fire Department to get everyone the care they needed. Our team’s training, quick coordination, and steady teamwork made a real difference on a difficult morning, and we’re proud of every crew member who answered the call.

To the Brockton Fire Department: thank you for your courage and leadership. Partnerships like this one, built on trust and shared commitment, are what keep our community safe. Our thoughts are with everyone who was injured, including the firefighters, and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.

Five people were rescued Monday from a five-alarm fire that tore through a multifamily home in Brockton, Massachusetts. Others made a rope out of bedsheets and climbed out a window.

🎃🚑 Trunk or Treat on the Green! 🚑🎃

Our Brewster, Taunton EMS team had a great time participating in this year’s Trunk or Treat on the Green! It was a beautiful evening filled with fun, smiles, and a fantastic turnout from our community.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out to participate and to all those who worked hard behind the scenes to organize and make this event such a success. We’re proud to be part of such a wonderful community and always enjoy opportunities to connect with the families we serve!

Brewster held another in-person NERO’s class in Brockton, featuring Dr. Lindsay Kendrick Anderson from VEG ER in Boston. Joining her were our very own Kevin Hayes and first responder therapy dog Maverick, along with Brockton Police Officer Eric Burke and his K9 partner, Woody.

This important training equips first responders with the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to provide emergency medical care to working K9s when they need it most. These dedicated K9 partners play a vital role in keeping our communities safe, and ensuring their handlers are prepared to respond to a medical emergency can make all the difference.

A big thank-you to Dr. Anderson, Kevin, Maverick, Officer Burke, and Woody for being part of this valuable training and helping keep our four-legged heroes safe!

Big thanks to the Worcester Jewish Community Center Preschool for hosting an amazing Touch a Truck day! 🚒🚜🚑

Little ones climbed into cabs, pulled levers, and fired off more questions than we could count. Seeing that excitement up close was the best part. Thank you to the preschool team and everyone who came out to make it such a fun day.

Members of the Brewster Ambulance team had the privilege of attending this year’s City of Taunton Fireman’s Ball! It was an outstanding event, and a great time was had by all.

We’re proud to collaborate with so many outstanding partners, from our local first responders on the street to the political leaders who help shape our communities. Events like these strengthen relationships, build camaraderie, and remind us of the importance of working together to serve the people of Taunton.
