The Friends of the Whitman Public Library is a volunteer organization that promotes, advocates for, and supports the Library. Membership is open to any person interested in the purpose of this organization, upon payment of dues. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Community Room at the Library.

Dear community members…

The Friends are seeking your help for our November 3rd fundraiser at Town Hall.

We are assembling a Thanksgiving basket to raffle off during the elections and are looking for donations of non-perishable Thanksgiving meal items such as stuffing mix, canned or jarred gravy, cranberry sauce etc. to add to the basket.

Donations may be brought into the library. Extra items and duplicates will be donated to the food pantry.

Contact us with any questions or to arrange drop off.

Good Stuff Alert!

The First Congregational Church of Whitman is hosting their annual pumpkin patch fundraiser..

I went yesterday and came home with all the funky ones as well as desk sized ones for the office!

It brought me down memory lane as I used to bring my babies there for photo opportunities!!
