Maternal and Family Health Services

MFHS is a non-profit health and human services organization working to meet the health and nutrition needs of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s women, children, and families with information, education, and quality care.

Founded in 1971, MFHS meets the ever-changing needs of women, children, and families by providing essential and innovative programming that improves the quality of life for women, children, and families. Today, we oversee and support a network of health and nutrition centers in 17 Pennsylvania counties, serving over 100,000 women, men, and children annually through our core programs: the Nurse-Family Partnership, Maternity Care, Reproductive Care, Behavioral Health Care and the WIC Nutrition program.

This year, MFHS is participating in NEPA Gives. During NEPA Gives 2026, we need your help. Through your support, over 100,000 women, men, and children in 17 Pennsylvania counties benefit from our healthcare services and education programs every year. Your individual donation allows us to meet the ongoing needs of individuals in our community by supporting initiatives like hygiene products, diapers, maternity clothes, menstrual products, Uber Health, and more.
