Thank you everyone for all your generosity with the Wylie ISD food drive so far! We have already collected 1,785 items! That is amazing for the Christian Care Food pantry! The food drive is continuing until Thursday, November 12th. Please continue to bring items in and just a reminder that if you bring in a box of something that has more than one item in it, such as a six pack of ramen, it will count as six, or six pack of applesauce will count as six as six. Please do not open them up prior to bringing them. Also, we do ask that students do not bring small items such as fruit, snacks, individually. Fruit stocks are a wonderful thing to donate but in the box.
The graphic below shows where we stand for each house. Each item donated towards the house stands for a house point. We are starting to collect house points and there will be various things throughout the year for the house that has the most house points. We will soon have our first house meeting. If you are out and about this weekend and are able to pick up a few more food items to donate, that would be wonderful! Have a wonderful weekend!
