1️⃣First things first: what is "tikkun olam?"
👉 Tikkun Olam means "repairing the world." And a caregiver does just that.
There's many ways we can fix the world around us - showing kindness, helping the homeless, giving money or time to charity, and the list goes on and on. But one of the strongest ways we can repair the world is my caring for each other, which is exactly what caregivers do. 🕊️
These selfless caregivers give hours of their day to helping others. They serve our friends, parents, siblings, neighbors, and children. They are valuable pillars of our community, holding us up with strength, compassion, and care.
Some caregivers go into this field for their profession, chasing their dreams of helping people. Then there's some who become caregivers for those they love, chasing the dream of keeping those they care about safe and healthy. Both are selfless, caring, and compassionate, and are more than deserving of recognition, support, and the care they provide to everyone else. 💙
Caregivers, thank you for making our world brighter by taking care of those who have been a light for us. 🌟 Who preserves the light becomes it, and caregivers are one of the brightest lights of all.
