ANC-deployed councillors are today attending a Special Sitting of Council at the Feather Market Centre to consider and adopt the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality's 2026/27 Budget.

The approval of the budget is a critical step in ensuring that the municipality is adequately resourced to deliver services, invest in infrastructure, create opportunities for economic growth, and improve the living conditions of communities across the metro.

The ANC remains committed to advancing a developmental local government agenda that places the needs of residents at the centre of municipal planning and expenditure.

Congratulations to Smashers Netball Club on being crowned champions of the Florence Matomela Netball Tournament once again. Having lifted the trophy last year, the team has successfully defended its title and reaffirmed its status as one of the tournament's outstanding competitors.
