We ended our Cancer Awareness Programme with a beautiful and emotional tribute to loved ones who lost their lives to breast cancer. 🩷

The ladies took a moment to write personal messages to their loved ones, sharing words of love, remembrance and healing before releasing their balloons into the sky. It was a touching reminder that although our loved ones may no longer be with us, their memories will forever live in our hearts.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this programme so meaningful. Your presence, support and willingness to share in this special moment are truly appreciated. 🩷

Together, we honour those we have lost, support those still fighting, and spread awareness to save lives.

Remembering with love. Standing together in hope. Fighting together for a future without breast cancer. 🩷

A Beautiful Act of Love, Courage and Solidarity 🩷

A heartfelt thank you to Erica Williams for her incredible generosity and bravery during our Cancer Awareness Programme.

Erica allowed the women attending the programme to cut her hair as a powerful gesture of support for cancer survivors and those who have experienced hair loss during their cancer journey.

Her selfless act was a beautiful reminder that cancer awareness is about more than just raising awareness, it is about compassion, understanding, unity and standing together in support of one another.

Erica, thank you for inspiring us with your kindness and for showing that even the simplest acts can carry a powerful message of hope and love. You are truly appreciated! 🩷

We hosted a meaningful Cancer Awareness Programme dedicated to raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and encouraging early detection of breast cancer.🩷

We were honoured to welcome Dona Kindo, a breast cancer survivor, who shared her story and experiences, inspiring us with her courage, strength, and resilience.

A special thank you to Amy Bester, a nurse from the local Simon’s Town Clinic, for presenting an informative breast examination demonstration and educating participants about the importance of breast awareness and early detection.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our speakers, everyone who attended, and all who contributed to making this programme a success.🩷

Spooky season, happy readers! 👻❤️

Our Halloween reading programme was a spooktacular success. The children had an absolute blast diving into spooky stories, taking part in fun activities, and discovering just how exciting reading can be.
