Rwanda Mission in UAE. Accredited to UAE, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Renewable Energy Agency

The Mission of the Republic of Rwanda in the United Arab Emirates was established in May 2015. With Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the mission is accredited to the UAE, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). The goal of the Mission is to promote and strengthen the good relations between Rwanda and the UAE and the whole jurisdiction. The Embassy (in Abu Dhabi) and the General Consulate (in Dubai) strategic focus is to promote bilateral cooperation in sectors and areas of mutual interest and economic diplomacy that results in increased trade and investment flows as well as people visits both ways.

Today in Abu Dhabi, Amb. John Mirenge joined over 300 government representatives and delegates for the 32nd Council of the International Renewable Energy Agency, taking place from 14 to 16 October. The Council is discussing shared priorities for the next phase of the global energy transition.

Rwanda’s Global Coffee Cupping Tour brought together coffee enthusiasts and industry stakeholders to experience Rwanda’s finest specialty coffees in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah from 9–11 October. Second Counsellor Ines Mutoni joined the Rwandan delegation in showcasing the exceptional quality of Rwandan coffee and its growing potential in the international specialty coffee market.
