After looking at the other 'Miss Pink' photoshoot, I reviewed Album 87 and found its 4 photos a bit sad, so I updated it with some extra stuff to give it the full treatment.

I generally focus on presenting the Now/Then and historical / factual aspects because from that perspective, scenic photos and videos are just fluff.

But do appreciate that I can bring people along on my adventures, by sharing some of the tons of other pictures I take.
I am not a great photographer, but I guess many are from places people will never go, and Mount Gillen is now Illegal to climb, so ther's that...

Thinking about all the times I went out with a photo and a hunch and an endless question “how would those hills look when I go further this way?”

Finally finished this project. It has involved many outings chasing Miss Pink. Miss Pink was a feisty contrary woman who set tongues wagging the moment she got off the first train to town in 1930 Fiercely independent and contemptuous of bad mannered people, she rode camels and camped with the natives as she sought to carry out her work as an anthropologist. She stayed in Alice for most of her life after that, and ticked all the boxes for being the town's archetypal witch, and many people treated her that way, although she was also a beloved icon to many. Of course this is way before Roald Dahl released his book about witches. Everybody now knows they have blue spit, and wear wigs. Although Olive did always wear gloves and she may indeed have had horribly long fingernails under them...
