We made the most of the Spring weather this morning in Little Learners playgroup! We enjoyed a group cutting and pasting activity making a rainbow together and printed some spring flowers! Outside the flower beds were well watered by all the children, while we enjoyed working on our gross motor climbing, balancing and swinging activities. It was great to see children and carers using the visual tools more and more around the centre to communicate. Great role modelling everyone!

A reminder to families that our Child Health Nurse Petra has an Open Session every Tuesday at the CFLC for walk-ins. This is a good opportunity for a quick weigh-in for baby, or if have you have any questions you would like to have a quick chat about. We encourage families to make the most of these sessions so we can continue to offer them as we look forward.

Thank you for everyone who took the time to complete our survey. Your feedback provides us with opportunities to implement the suggestions and ideas you tell us. It also provides data to ensure that the BCFLC continues to grow and meet the ever changing needs of our community.

We, at the BCFLC, would also like to share our sincerest thanks to West Tamar Lions Club and The Valley Network. Without their support this wonderful hamper would not have been possible. They also assist community and the BCFLC, quietly, in various ways providing much needed resources to ensure that families and community are well supported.

See our next post for the winner of our Large Family Christmas Hamper. Good luck everyone
