Meet Harley Ludgater, winner of our 2026 Young, Black and Proud Scholarship in the Sports category.

Harley is a passionate basketball player who competes at school, club and representative level. Through hard work, commitment and a love for the game, he has achieved some deadly results both on and off the court. Basketball has helped Harley build confidence, teamwork and discipline, while giving him opportunities to compete at a high level.

With support from the Young, Black and Proud Scholarship, Harley travelled to Perth this year to represent the U14 Pirates at the National Basketball Championships. Harley and his team had an incredible tournament, bringing home the gold medal and earning the title of national champions.

What a massive achievement, Harley! Congratulations and we can't wait to see where basketball takes you next.

Last week, we came together for our annual Women's Business Breast Cancer Awareness Event.

It was a deadly morning of connection, strong yarns and important conversations about putting our health first.

Women and aunties enjoyed a weaving workshop with Aunty Erica from Dreamtime Artistry , potted beautiful flowers to take home, and connected with ATSICHS Brisbane Nurse Aimee Briggs to learn more about breast health and screening.

A big thank you to Dreamtime Artistry, Bunnings Warehouse Australia Underwood and Key Assets Australia for helping make the day possible.

Women's health is more than appointments and screenings. It's about creating spaces where our women feel safe, supported and empowered to look after themselves and each other.

Our Annual Staff Meeting is an opportunity for us all to come together, celebrate our incredible achievements of the year, acknowledge the contributions of staff who have reached milestone anniversaries with the organisation and to recognise staff who have gone above and beyond in their roles over the past 12 months.

It's a special day for us, and an acknowledgement of the hard work, dedication and commitment of our staff who strive every day to see better health and wellbeing outcomes for our people.
