🏊 The 40th Lake Leschenaultia Open Water Swim is this Sunday 8 October! Here's what you need to know before you head to the lake.

8am – Swimmer registration opens (all events)
9am – Registrations (including late entries) close
9:30am – 400m Jump in the Lake Swim
9:50am – 3.2km Swim
9:55am – 800m Swim
10am – 1.6km Swim
12:20pm – Event finish
12:30pm – Presentations & awards

Please note: canoe hire won’t be open until midday on 8 Nov.

☕ The Flackseed kiosk will be open for snacks, coffee and refreshments.
💧 This is a plastic-free event, so no bottled water will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle to refill.
🐾 Dogs or pets are not permitted (registered Assistance Dogs are welcome).

🏊‍♂️🚵🏃 This Saturday, Lake Leschenaultia plays host to EXSS Triathlon. It's exciting to have a World Championship qualifying event right on our doorstep!

Athletes will swim in our freshwater lake, tackle the MTB trails through the bushland, and finish with a run on the Lake Loop trail. There are long and short course options for both triathlon and duathlon, with the Long Course Duathlon holding Australian Championship status. It's going to be a big morning.

📅 Saturday 7 November | Registration opens 6:30am | Racing from 8am

⚠️ Please note: our MTB trails will be closed until midday on race day. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy the lake while the race is on - come cheer the athletes on!

🏊 One week to go! The Lake Leschenaultia Open Water Swim turns 40 this year, and there's still time to register.

Forty years of open water swimming at Lake Lesch is a special milestone. Maida Vale Masters Swimming is hosting the swim on Sunday 8 November, and we'd love to see you there. Choose your distance:
400m "Jump in the Lake" – 8 years and over – $15
800m – 10 years and over – $35
1.6km – 11 years and over – $50
3.2km – 12 years and over – $55

Every finisher takes home a commemorative 40th Anniversary Towel, sponsored by the Shire of Mundaring.
