The Gallery's carpark will be temporarily closed from Monday 26 October to Friday 6 November 2026 while Council undertakes garden and drainage renewal works.

This represents an exciting investment from Council in our much-loved Gallery site. The renewal works will improve the long-term sustainability of the site and create a more welcoming entrance for visitors.

🤔 How will this impact you?
The carpark will be closed to all visitors from Monday 26 October to Friday 6 November 2026.
Please allow extra time to find parking before your visit.

👋🏼 The Gallery will remain open during the works and will operate as usual

In Memory of W***y Webster 🎨🧡🌈

The Gympie Regional Gallery community is saddened by the recent passing of local artist W***y Webster.

In 2022, W***y celebrated a significant milestone with his first solo exhibition at Gympie Regional Gallery. Curated by local artist Sandra Ross, who worked closely with W***y through her home studio, the exhibition was a wonderful success, with all of W***y's artworks finding new homes.

W***y was a much-loved member of the Gympie community, remembered for his infectious smile, playful personality and love of colour. His creativity and enthusiasm brought joy to those around him, and his exhibition remains a special part of the Gallery's history.

Our thoughts are with W***y's family, friends and all those who knew and loved him.
