**Free Green Waste Drop-Off Week - Next Week**
As the warmer months approach, Council is encouraging residents to start preparing their properties ahead of the upcoming Fire Danger Period. To support this, Council will again be offering a week of free green waste drop-off.
When: Monday 2 November- Sunday 8 November
Where: All Transfer Station
Cost: FREE for residents (excludes commercial vehicles)
Conditions apply:
➡Max 1m3 per customer per day
➡Only green waste and small tree branches no bigger than 200mm accepted. NO STUMPS
➡No treated timber or other garden waste e.g soil, fencing wire, plastic strapping
➡Loads will be inspected on arrival, and any contaminated loads will be rejected
➡Commercial loads are not accepted for free under this arrangement
This is an opportunity for residents to reduce fuel levels around their properties, not for shed clear-outs.
Remember, fine fuels make fires easier to start and harder to control. Keeping your property clear helps protect your home and community.
The free drop-off is in addition to the weekly FOGO collection, which continues until the end of November before returning to fortnightly collections in December.
