| PBS UPDATE 📢|
This fortnight, our PBS focus is: We Use Active Listening Skills. Students have been learning that listening can look different for different people, from asking questions and following instructions to quietly fidgeting while concentrating. Our goal is for all students to feel included, respected and ready to learn. Attached are photos of some of our students practising their active listening skills during class time.

✨ Kindy 2027 Enrolments at Landsdale Primary School ✨
At Landsdale Primary School, we believe every child’s learning journey should begin with understanding who they are first. 💛
That’s why we offer our unique SEEDS process — the School Entry Evaluation of Developmental Skills — as part of our enrolment experience. Conducted by our Deputy Principal and School Psychologist, SEEDS helps us get to know your child’s strengths, interests and individual needs before they even begin school.
Through fun, age-appropriate and evidence-based activities, we build a holistic picture of your child across areas such as:
🌱 Communication
🌱 Fine and gross motor skills
🌱 Problem solving
🌱 Social and emotional development
Importantly, SEEDS is NOT a test and there is no pass or fail. It is a supportive, strengths-based process designed to help children transition confidently into school life.
By taking the time to truly understand each child, we can:
✨ Support a smooth and positive start to school
✨ Plan responsive learning programs
✨ Provide early support where needed
✨ Build strong partnerships with families from day one
At Landsdale PS, we don’t just prepare children for school — we partner with families to ensure every child feels known, supported and ready to thrive. 💙
📍 Kindy 2027 enrolments are now open.

Lest we forget.

Today, we gathered to remember.
Tomorrow, Australians and New Zealanders will mark ANZAC Day, the 111th anniversary of the first ANZAC landings at Gallipoli in 1915.
But today, as a school community, we paused ahead of that day to reflect on what it truly means.
Because ANZAC Day is not just about dates or battles.
It is about people.
It is about stories.
Stories of courage.
Stories of sacrifice.
And stories of connection, between those who served and those who waited for them at home.
Special thanks to Mayor Linda Aitken, Mr Daniel Pastorelli, Mr Driscoll, Mrs Holland, our P&C, Ministers & Choir as well as our school community who attended today.
Lest we forget.
** We would like to take this opportunity to remind our school community that it is a public holiday on Monday. Students will return to school on Tuesday, 28 April 2026 **
