Power of Connection

Our team had the privilege of participating in cultural awareness training focused on Torres Strait Islander history, culture, and identity.

One reflection from a Young Person participant captured not only the impact of the day beautifully but highlighted the WHY we here at KYS do what we do!

At Kalyan Youth Service Inc, we believe and understand the power and value of connection for our Young People.

This one of four professional development opportunities will not only deepen our knowledge but also strengthen our ability to provide culturally safe and responsive support to the young people and families we work alongside.

A heartfelt thank you to Matilda Christian who generously shared knowledge, stories, and wisdom with us and big thankyou to Younga Yarns for helping us to make this happen. Kalyan are grateful.
