⚡️🏆 LIGHTNING PREMIERSHIP FUN! 🏆⚡️

Our Year 5/6 students headed off to the Lightning Premiership and what a day it was! Students represented MVPS with enthusiasm, teamwork and plenty of sporting spirit as they competed in Tee-Ball, Netball and Soccer. ⚽🏐⚾

There were impressive catches, amazing goals, some very serious game faces 😤, and a lot of cheering from the sidelines!

🏆 OUR TEE-BALL TEAM WON THE LIGHTNING PREMIERSHIP! 🏆

That’s right – our Tee-Ball champions are heading to the Division Finals in Term 3! 🎉👏

We are incredibly proud of all our students for the way they supported one another, displayed great sportsmanship and represented MVPS so brilliantly.
Now we just need to work out where we’re going to display all these trophies... 😉🏆

Secondary school? Already?! 😱🎓

Our Year 4 students had an amazing day at the Salesian Kid – Secondary School Experience Day at ! ✨.

From mixing up experiments in Science 🧪 to getting creative in Art 🎨, showing off their skills at the Liverpool FC Academy soccer session ⚽️ and rocking out to a live band performance 🎶, our students got a taste of what secondary school life is all about.

There were lots of smiles, plenty of curiosity and maybe even a few future scientists, artists, musicians and soccer stars discovered along the way! ⭐

A huge thank you to the student ambassadors and staff at for making our students feel so welcome and creating such a fun and memorable experience. 💙

Education Week at MVPS = a HUGE success! 🎉📚

Last week we threw open our classroom doors and loved seeing so many families come through our Open Mornings and Afternoons to experience the magic of learning at MVPS.

From explicit teaching, engaged learners and collaborative classrooms… to teachers performing the Olympic sport of teaching while 22 children ask questions at once 😅👏 — it was wonderful to showcase what happens every day at our school.

A massive thank you to the parents who joined our Learning Walk with the leadership team. We hope it gave you a great insight into the “how” and “why” behind teaching and learning at MVPS… and possibly introduced you to some educational acronyms you never knew existed 🤓😂

We are so proud of our students for the way they welcomed visitors into their classrooms and showed off their learning with confidence and enthusiasm. They truly are the heart of our school ❤️

Thank you to our amazing staff for opening up their classrooms and sharing the incredible work they do every single day.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ MVPS was SO well represented at District Cross Country last week!

All of our runners gave it their absolute all, showing incredible determination, resilience and school spirit (and probably very sore legs afterwards 😅). We were so proud of the way our students encouraged each other and represented MVPS with such positivity and sportsmanship.

A huge congratulations to ALL of our runners — and an extra special shoutout to the 6 students who were successful in making it through to Division Cross Country! 🎉👏 What an amazing achievement!
