Mandurah Community Gardens

02/11/2026

The Mandurah Community Gardens Inc. committee is seeking volunteers to help fill positions available for:
⭐️ Treasurer
⭐️ Events Coordinator

Ideally, we would welcome the positions being taken up by current members, but we are open to considering anyone who lives locally and is not currently a member of MCG. All positions will have training provided and support from committee members.

If you are interested, please Email the Secretary at [email protected] for more information.

Taking on a role in the committee is great way to get involved in the running of the gardens and to be involved in making decisions that affect the garden. This is an opportunity to use the skills gained from your life experience and to learn new skills. Being more involved means that you will make friends, and provide an active purpose to your life by contributing to, and doing something for your local community.

🌿 2026 AGM – Mandurah Community Gardens Inc. 🌿
Calling all green thumbs and community champions! Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Mandurah Community Gardens Inc. is coming up, and we'd love for you to be there.

Date: Saturday, 24th October 2026

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Location: Mandurah Community Gardens

What is an AGM?

An AGM is a chance for us to look back on the year, celebrate our successes, and plan for the future. It's where we present our annual reports, review our finances, and elect the committee for the year ahead. It's all about transparency and making sure we're serving our members and the community effectively.

Why You Should Attend:

For Members: Your presence and input are crucial! This is your opportunity to have your say and vote for people to fill the roles on our committee. We especially encourage you to consider joining the committee. Being on the committee is a fantastic way to get more involved, learn new skills, and help shape the direction of our wonderful community space. It's a rewarding experience, and we need passionate people like you to keep our gardens thriving.

For the Community: You don't have to be a member to attend! If you've been thinking about joining the gardens or just want to see what we're all about, the AGM is a perfect chance to meet the team, see the garden, and learn about our mission. We welcome new ideas and energy, so come along and see how you can get involved—from leasing a bed to helping with events.

(Please note: Following a short break after the AGM, the newly formed committee will hold its first meeting.)

We look forward to seeing you there and working together to grow our community! 🌱

Fresh out of the pizza oven! 🍕🧁

Today at the garden, Estelle cooked up a delicious batch of choc chip and blueberry muffins. Safe to say they were a huge hit—there were barely any left after morning tea with our amazing team of volunteers! 😋☕

Huge thanks to Estelle for treating everyone! 💚
