Every year on 26 May, known as National Sorry Day, we remember, acknowledge, and support members of the Stolen Generation and their mistreatment after being forcibly removed from their families, Communities, and Culture πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Without accepting the truth of Australia's history, we cannot move forward to fix the problems still faced by our Community today, and the still raw wounds and intergenerational trauma experienced by members of the Stolen Generation to this day 🌺

Our Bringing Them Home team is hosting a special National Sorry Day function, providing a safe space for Stolen Generation members to share their healing journeys, listen to guest speakers share their own strength, and come together to reflect on hardship but celebrate strength and resilience ✊🏾

Join us at VAHS Preston from 10.30am-3pm (lunch provided). Contact Daria Atkinson on 0423 859 525 or [email protected] with any questions πŸ“₯
