It has been another busy week at Orchard Grove!

Our Year 6 students had a wonderful day on Wednesday exploring IMAX and the Melbourne Museum, while some of our girls enjoyed an exciting day at Girls on Track today, getting involved in the world of motorsport through hands-on STEM activities, workshops and behind-the-scenes experiences.

It's fantastic to see our students embracing new experiences, exploring their interests and making the most of the opportunities available to them both inside and outside the classroom.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a special celebration observed by millions of people around the world. It is a time for families and communities to come together, celebrate, share joy and welcome new beginnings.

We warmly invite all members of our school community to join us at assembly this Friday to enjoy a special performance by our very own Diwali Dance Group. We look forward to celebrating and sharing in this wonderful cultural experience together! Assembly this week starts at 2:40pm.

Congratulations to Axton, one of our Year 6 students, who played Touch Football for the 12U SSV team at the School Sport Australia Games in Newcastle last week.

The Victorian team had 2 pool wins against South Australia and Northern Territory. They then played South Australia in the finals and won 4-3.

Axton was named the Best Defensive Player for the tournament for his team. Well done Axton - we are so proud of you!
