🌮Everybody loves Taco Bowl Day! 🌮

Besides the food being absolutely delicious, fresh and healthy, days like yesterday highlight something really important in our food program - the power of choice!

Giving the students the opportunity to choose what goes into their own taco bowls is about so much more than just food. It fosters a sense of independence, confidence and empowerment, allowing students to make their own decisions while developing a positive relationship with food in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

There’s also something special about sharing these experiences with their friends. When they see their peers trying and enjoying different foods, it often encourages them to step outside their comfort zones and give something new a go too!

It’s the little things that make a big difference!! 💛🖤
