🎨🏆 AND THE WINNERS ARE…! 🏆🎨

A HUGE congratulations to all our winners in the Squiggle Challenge Competition! 🎉

We were absolutely blown away by the creativity, imagination and originality shown in every entry. You made judging incredibly difficult, and we loved seeing all the different ways you turned a simple squiggle into something amazing! 💛

🌈 6–9 YEARS CATEGORY

🥇 1st Place: Entry #57
🥈 2nd Place: Entry #63
🥉 3rd Place: Entries #36 and #9

We just couldn't separate our two third-place entries, so we decided they were both winners! 🎉

❤️ People's Choice Award: Entry #74

✨ 10 YEARS PLUS CATEGORY

🥇 1st Place: Entry #21
🥈 2nd Place: Entry #4
🥉 3rd Place: Entries #18 and #10

Once again, two entries were just too good to separate, so we have awarded joint third place! 🙌

❤️ People's Choice Award: Entry #34

👏 Congratulations to all our winners, and a massive thank you to everyone who entered! Every entry brought something special, and we hope you had as much fun creating your masterpieces as we had looking at them. We also thank our youth after school team who helped us vote for our people’s choice award.

Keep an eye on the Mid-Western Regional Council Youth pages for more fun competitions, school holiday activities and opportunities to get creative! 🎨🌟

🎬🍿 DID YOU COME TO OUR EXTRA MOVIE SCREENINGS THESE PAST TWO DAYS? 🍿🎬

Thanks to Rotary Club of Mudgee Sunrise and the Mudgee Connect Bus, we were able to give young people from Kandos and Gulgong the chance to enjoy a day out in Mudgee, catching Forgotten Island at Mudgee Town Hall Cinema! As well as adding another activity for youth across the region to enjoy!

We had a brilliant turnout, and to make things even more exciting, we also gave away FREE movie tickets and movie prize packs!

A huge thank you to our amazing Youth Councillors, who came along to help out with ushering, welcoming moviegoers and handing out raffle tickets. Your support helped make the screenings a great success!

We'd also like to thank everyone who came along for helping make these days possible.

Thanks for supporting our Youth Services programs and helping us create more opportunities for young people across our region.
