Students on Facebook:
Please note that the Facebook terms and conditions state that no one under the age of 13 years should have a Facebook profile. Therefore, any students who 'Like' the Kingswood Park Public School page will be deleted and reported immediately. Comments Policy:
Kingswood Park Public School encourages interaction from Facebook users but is not responsible for comments or wall postings made by visitors to the page. Comments posted also do not in any way reflect the opinions or policies of Kingswood Park Public School. KPPS asks that people making comments on the page show respect for their fellow users by ensuring the discussion remains civil, especially since Facebook allows individuals between the ages of 13 and 18 to join. Remember that your name and photo will be seen next to your comment, visible to the tens of thousands of visitors to the page. We reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to remove comments that are racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, that advocate illegal activity, contain falsehoods or are wildly off-topic, or that libel, incite, threaten or make ad hominem attacks on KPPS students, employees, guests or other individuals. Owners of pages or groups have a responsibility to remove comments that could cause offense with a reasonable amount of time. For corporate organisations this is 24 hours. For schools there has been no definitive guide given, however, the site should be monitored within a 24-hour period. The Principal of KPPS has requested that any complaints or concerns should be directed to the office, via phone or in person, so that they can be dealt with effectively. Please use this page to celebrate KPPS successes and receive relevant information about your child's school. We also do not permit messages selling products or promoting commercial, political or other ventures. Facebook encourages all users to utilise the “Report” links when they find abusive content.

‘Friending' Staff on Facebook:
Please note that the Department of Education and Communities has this advice for teachers - 'Friending' parents on Facebook: The line between your professional and personal life could become blurred making it difficult to manage your professional relationship with the parents when that becomes necessary. You also need to bear in mind that becoming a Facebook friend with a parent could result in their children getting access to your account as well. You also need to be mindful that you need to be careful what you say on Facebook if you have parents as friends as comments made online can be misunderstood and could result in parental complaints made to your principal. In short, please do not ask to friend a member of staff on Facebook as refusal often offends. Moderation Hours:
This page is moderated from 9am to 3pm on weekdays.

Class Walabaa is proud to speak an Acknowledgement of Country in Dharug language, supported by Miss Roberts. As we celebrate Aboriginal Language Week, we recognise this as a beautiful way to learn about, honour, and celebrate culture. Speaking Dharug helps us connect with the traditional custodians of the land. NSW Department of Education

🌟 Attendance Matters at Wadangali! 🌟
This term, we have some exciting ways to celebrate our students who are coming to school on time, every day, ready to learn! 💛🖤
From Monday 19th October to Friday 11th December, we’ll be celebrating great attendance and encouraging everyone to make every school day count!
🍧 Sno Cone Treat! Students who achieve 98% attendance or higher, or have all absences explained, will receive a delicious Sno Cone on Presentation Day!
🚲 Win a Bike! These students will also go into the draw for the chance to win one of TWO bikes up for grabs! How exciting!
If your child is away from school, please remember to let us know the reason for their absence. You can do this by phoning the school or using the School Bytes app. Every day of learning counts, and we want to celebrate our students' efforts and commitment to being at school.
Let’s work together to make every day count! We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing Wadangali learners! 💛🖤
