That means when a long weekend rolls around, our students and staff get to enjoy an extra day to relax, recharge, spend time with family and friends, or do the things they love.

So as we head into the long weekend, we wish everyone a safe, happy and well-deserved break.

Big Picture staff cooked up delicious bacon and egg rolls for students and staff to grab on their way to class — what a great way to start the day!

There’s always something happening here at FISC!
Yesterday our Hospitality students had a big day in the kitchen, making fresh pasta from scratch and baking focaccia. They then delivered a delicious lunch of pumpkin ravioli, focaccia, and a pear and rocket salad — restaurant quality all the way!
It will be hard to top this week!

This week, in acknowledgement of National Reconciliation Week, our hospitality team prepared a delicious lunch featuring flavours inspired by traditional Indigenous ingredients, and decorated the tables with native flowers and colours that respectfully celebrate and honour First Nations cultures.
