đź©· Looking out for your breast health is important đź©·
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
đź©· It's important to get to know your breasts and look out for any changes like lumps, changes in size or shape or unusual ni**le discharge
đź©· If you notice anything have a yarn with your GP
đź©· Breastscreen NSW recommends mammograms every 2 years for Aboriginal women over 40. These tests are free and can pick up lumps before you feel anything
đź©· Encourage your mum, sister, aunty, daughter, cousin and friends to look after their breast heath too
Finding breast cancer early can mean more treatment options and better outcomes. The sooner it’s found, the sooner you can get the care you need.
