🏇 As Melbourne Cup excitement builds, did you know Singleton has a connection to one of Australia's great racehorses?
Peter Pan, one of Australia's champion thoroughbreds, has a lasting place in Singleton's history. Visitors to the museum can see his rug displayed on a life-sized horse! Our tribute to a horse that captured the imagination of racing fans across the country.
Singleton and the Hunter Valley have long been associated with champion racehorses through our local studs and rich breeding history. Peter Pan is just one example of the region's contribution to Australian racing.
Why not drop in before the Cup and see our Peter Pan display for yourself?
🎃 Judging by this outfit, Peter Pan appears to be ready for both Melbourne Cup week and Halloween!
