🌧️ Heavy rainfall is forecast for parts of Victoria tomorrow, Sunday 25th October, with rain affecting western and central districts before heading towards eastern Victoria during the afternoon. Some heavy falls are possible in the north-east ranges, and isolated thunderstorms may develop before easing overnight.

Last night, we had a great training session at Beverford Motors, practising several different techniques for door removal and sharpening our road crash rescue skills.

Today on National Police Remembrance Day, we pause to remember and honour our dedicated colleagues who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

We are proud to work alongside our police colleagues and acknowledge their courage and tireless efforts to protect and serve our communities.

SES Swan Hill were out on the water in Boats 501 and 503, practising their boat skills and building confidence in preparation for when they’re needed.

Great work by the team getting out there, training hard and keeping their skills sharp.

SES Swan Hill will be on the water this Thursday night!
With the Murray River up, our trained boat crew will be out putting the boat and their skills through their paces.

Boat training is just one of the many areas our volunteers train in.
From emergency response and storm damage to road crash support, search and rescue, and much more, there are plenty of skills to learn and ways to get involved.

Interested in joining SES and have an interest in boating? You can train with our team and work towards your full boat qualification, while also developing skills across other areas of emergency response.

If you’re looking to learn new skills, challenge yourself and give back to your community, we’d love to hear from you!
