The Main Streets Blitz is coming to Enmore and Newtown tomorrow! 🧼🧹🗑️
Up to 50 council staff will be hitting Enmore Road and King Street on Thursday, 12 March with a big to-do list, including:
🚿 High pressure cleaning
🧽 Graffiti removal
🪑Street furniture cleaning, and
♻️ Laneway and dumped rubbish clean ups
This is on top of our regular streetscape maintenance program - and all part of our efforts to deliver safer, cleaner, better public spaces.

Happy Mardi Gras! 💖🌈✨
Had the best time marching in Inner West Council’s first ever Mardi Gras float last night alongside our incredible staff.
The float celebrated so many of the achievements we’ve delivered with our LGBTQI+ community: the Inner West Pride Centre, Pride Square, Drag Story Time, Trans and Gender Diverse Swim Nights, the Pride Sports Hub, and now our groundbreaking partnership with Sydney Gay and Le***an Mardi Gras.
