💧 STEM Investigation – How Do Pipe Systems Work?

Our little engineers were challenged to construct a working pipe system connected to a water tank, with the goal of delivering water through the pipes to four individual houses. As they worked together, the children shared ideas, communicated their thinking and collaborated to connect the pipes and plan a route for the water to flow. Through teamwork, problem-solving and trial and error, they discovered how cooperation and clear communication help bring a shared goal to life! 💦🏠

🔬 SCIENCE EXPLORATION: HOW DOES A BALLOON MACHINE WORK? 🎈
Today at Planet Kindy, our preschoolers worked in pairs to inflate balloons using an electric balloon machine and discovered how air makes balloons expand and fly! They released the balloons, chased and caught them, and explored movement using balls. This hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, cause-and-effect learning, teamwork, turn-taking and gross-motor development. 🌟
