Portrait photographer Julian Kingma has partnered with Go Gentle Australia for his new project 'Power of Choice', now on display in the Fountain Court at Parliament of NSW 🖼️

Documenting the people who choose voluntary assisted dying, along with the families and health professionals who help them on their final journey, the portraits and photo essays capture stories of hope, struggle, courage and acceptance.

Visit the exhibition from 9am to 5pm every weekday until 25 June 2026.

Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week 2026.

This year’s Reconciliation Australia theme 'All In' is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day, not from the sidelines, but through action.

At the Parliament of NSW, the representatives of the people of New South Wales gather from various Aboriginal lands across the State. During this week, we reflect on how the decisions made within these walls can help foster a spirit of reconciliation and respect.

Step into history with Ode to Freedom — a striking exhibition by Greek Australian artist Angela Kiki Konstantinopoulou, marking 200 years since the Exodus of Mesolonghi.

This powerful collection brings together portraits of heroes of the Greek War of Independence, including a standout tribute to Lord Byron, alongside works honouring the first Greeks in Australia.

Blending bold colour with deep storytelling, the exhibition celebrates shared values of courage, democracy and resilience that connect Greece and New South Wales.
