Terara Public School is a small semi-rural school situated in the beautiful village of Terara, just We thank parents for supporting this policy.

This Friday is World Teacher's Day and we are celebrating the wonderful teaching team at Terara Public School. We would love our school community to help us make them feel appreciated!
One of the best things about our small school is the connections our teachers build with students and families. They know our kids, celebrate their successes, encourage them through challenges and genuinely care about helping every student thrive.
We need your help to celebrate them!
We're inviting our students and families to share a GEM of appreciation for our teachers!
It could be a favourite memory, a funny classroom moment, something your child loves about their teacher or simply a few words of thanks.

Yesterday, we held our joint Year 6 and Platypus fundraiser, and what an amazing day it was! There was so much fun to be had, with a pony, reptiles, face painting, sponge throwing, duck fishing, scooters and so much more! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a wonderful success. 🐴🦎🎨

This week, our school launched our new Resilience Program with a day of fun, engaging teamwork activities. Students explored positive language and learnt how to keep trying, push through challenges and never give up. This is the beginning of an exciting journey where we will continue to learn, grow and build resilience together as a school community!

What a magnificent day at the Shoalhaven Dragon Tag, with an incredible 120 teams participating! A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a memorable experience! It was wonderful to see students building new skills and enjoying League Tag in a fun and supportive environment. A wonderful day of sport, teamwork and fun!

Today, we dressed up in our favourite sports team colours or jerseys and helped raise money for a great cause! A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated, and supported the day. Together, we’re helping make a difference!

Today, two of our classes had a fantastic visit to the Life Ed Van, where students explored important topics around staying safe online and building positive friendships. Students had the opportunity to learn, discuss and think about how they can make safe and respectful choices both online and with their friends. Our other two classes are looking forward to their visit tomorrow !

What an incredible achievement! Yesterday, six of our students took part in Write a Book in a Day, working together to create, write and publish their very own book, Lost Along the Way! From developing their ideas and characters to writing, editing and bringing their story together, the students worked collaboratively throughout the day to create a book they can be incredibly proud of. A huge congratulations to our six young authors! We can’t wait to see where your imaginations take you next!
