🌟 The Willows Warriors Pre-Prep Transition Program 🌟

🐷🐺 Week 4 – This Little Piggy Went to Prep! 🐷🐺

Can you believe we're already at Week 4? Yesterday, our clever little Warriors were back exploring Prep classrooms, and there were pigs EVERYWHERE! 🐷🐖

📖 Mrs Zonta shared the classic tale of The Three Little Pigs. Of course, there was a BIG BAD WOLF! 🐺💨 But do you know where that cheeky wolf ended up? 🫕😱 Ask your Warrior if they can tell you!

🎨 We got busy creating some adorable little pigs, including a few who were having a wonderful time playing in the mud! 🐷🤎

💃🕺 We headed down to visit Mr C for some energetic dancing in P.E. 🎶 We also visited Mrs Tannock in The Arts, where we drew some very cute pigs of our own! 🖍️🐖

🏫 Our afternoon Warriors visited Ms Murray's Prep classroom, where even MORE cheeky little pigs came to life! We also had a special adventure, enjoying our snack in the Prep eating area, just like the big Preppies! 🍎😊

Oink, oink! What a PIG-tastic day of learning and fun! 🐷🐖💗

🌈🏃‍♀️ COMING NEXT WEEK – OUR VERY OWN WARRIORS COLOUR RUN! 🏃‍♂️🎨

Get ready for a COLOURFUL adventure! 🎉

Next week (Week 5), our morning and afternoon Warriors will come together for a very special MORNING-ONLY Colour Run! 🌈🔴🟡🟢🔵🟣

Lots of excitement and energy! 😃

☀️ A reminder that BOTH groups will attend in the morning only next week.

We can't wait to see our little Warriors running, laughing and getting wonderfully colourful! 🌈🥳

Our next fortnightly focus is "Safe Choices", throughout this fortnight students will engage in learning about safe behaviours both in physical and online contexts. We end the fortnight with Day for Daniel on 30th October.

❤️ Day for Daniel ❤️

Our school community recognises Day for Daniel,
It raises awareness about child safety and empowers children to stay safe.

Together, we can help create a safer environment for all children by encouraging open conversations, building awareness and remembering the importance of keeping our children safe.

❤️ Recognise, React, Report. ❤️

🌟 The Willows Warriors Pre-Prep Transition Program 🌟

What an exciting day we had at Warriors today! 🤗🌈

🏫 A Visit to Prep! 📚✏️
Today, our Warriors had a very special experience as they visited a Prep classroom to see what learning at big school is all about! We listened to a funny story about a dog sitting on a frog! 🐶🐸 The story was full of rhyming words. Can your Warrior remember any? 🤔 We then put our drawing skills to work, drawing a dog on a log with a frog! 🐕🪵🐸

🏀 Fun in PE! ⚽🏐
We headed down to PE with Mr Madeley, where we had lots of fun practising our ball skills. There was plenty of movement, laughter and learning!

🎶 Music and Movement! 💃🕺
Our afternoon Warriors also enjoyed a special visit to Mrs Tannock in The Arts room, where we sang, danced and had a wonderful time making music together! 🎤🎵

🌟 What a fantastic day of new experiences, learning and fun! Every adventure helps our little Warriors grow in confidence as they get ready for Prep! 💛
