A huge thank you to the amazing teachers that accompanied our Stage 3 students on their 3 day, 2 night Canberra excursion. Without their willingness to do this, our students would not get these amazing experiences.
Thank you Mrs Peek, Mrs Cogan, Mrs Beven, Mr Szasz and Mr J.

Stage 3 Canberra Trip – Day 2: More Action-Packed Adventures!

We kicked off the day with a hot breakfast before heading to Questacon, where many students conquered their fears on the famous free-fall drop! Everyone had a fantastic time exploring the interactive, hands-on science exhibits. 🔬

Next, we stepped back in time with a visit to the Australian War Memorial, taking the opportunity to reflect on and appreciate our country's history and the sacrifices made by those who served.

Afterwards, we split into groups to explore Old Parliament House and the National Gallery of Australia, before regrouping at the Australian Institute of Sport. Here, we enjoyed a guided tour of the sporting facilities and some free play in the interactive sports zone, where the students loved putting their sporting skills to the test! 🏃‍♂️🏀

After dinner, it was back on the bus for one final adventure at the National Dinosaur Museum! 🦖🦕

What a huge day of learning, exploring and making memories! The kids are having an absolute ball.

Stage 3 have arrived safe and sound in Canberra and jumped straight into an action-packed day!

A visit to the National Gallery of Australia and Government House, where we were incredibly lucky to meet the Governor-General and enjoy a special Q&A session, then to Cockington Green Gardens to explore some miniature villages.

Settling down for a night of trivia and rest 🤞
