After a life-changing accident brought his riding days to an end, John thought that chapter of his life had closed.

Who says Oktoberfest is just for Munich? We brought the fun right here to The Edward!

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic day filled with live music, toe tapping tunes, dancing, delicious food and plenty of smiles! The band had us tapping our feet and maybe even showing off a few dance moves we haven't seen for a while.

It was a day to remember!

💙 Stepping Together for Parkinson’s!
This past Sunday, September 20, our team and residents were happy to take part in the Calgary Parkinson Step ’n Stride! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
It was a great day to get outside, stay active, connect with our community, and show our support for people living with Parkinson’s, their families, and caregivers.
We had such a great time being part of the event — here are a few photos from the day! 📸💙
Thank you to the Parkinson Association of Alberta for bringing everyone together for such a meaningful event!

The weather didn’t cooperate, but that didn’t stop the managers at The Edward from getting soaked for a great cause! Thanks to the generosity of our residents, we raised an amazing amount of money. The camaraderie was wonderful, the laughter contagious, and a great time was had by all.
