Genie Senior Services Calgary North and Airdrie.

Today we had the privilege of helping a client through another important chapter. Her name is Maureen.

This was the third time our team has supported her move — first from her home to Sage Hill Retirement, then back to the family home during an extended hospital stay and today into a retirement community with a higher level of care that better fits her needs now.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with all three of Maureen’s children along the way, and it has been obvious each time how much they love and care for their Mom

Today like the previous moves, we set up her new space completely so it will feel warm, familiar, and like home from the start. Placing the furniture, making the bed and hanging the pictures.

We’ve never actually met Maureen in person, yet she feels like someone we know. That’s one of the special parts of what we do: helping families through life’s transitions with care, heart, and respect.

Team Genie Calgary North finished a very busy month with a true Canadian Classic… a Triple Triple!
We started the day with a move into Sage Hill retirement for one wonderful family, followed by a move out from Sage Hill for a very dear soul. We then wrapped up with packing and furniture preparation at Chartwell Harbours for a lovely lady moving to a Chartwell location in Edmonton.
This is a collaborative move between Genie Senior Services Calgary North and Genie Senior Services Edmonton. We’re proud to support the same amazing client together as franchise partners!

We brought people together through incredible food, entertainment, engaging conversations, and amazing teamwork, with wonderful support from our vendors. We are so grateful for everyone who stopped by and shared the moment with us. 💛

We hired Genie to move my mom into her new place at a retirement living community. I was so impressed with Terry’s care and reassurance right from the start, and the crew on moving day did not disappoint.

First and foremost, the care and compassion shown towards my mom was touching and they were all so kind. The packing and loading went well, but the unpacking on the other end was absolutely incredible. Terry and her team stays until you are happy with furniture placement. They unpack dishes and even place decor to make the new place feel as comfortable and stress free as possible. The bed was made up exactly as it was when taken down, including bedding and pillow placement.

I honestly cannot say how grateful we were for Genie. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Terry and her team at Genie Senior Services!!
