The goal of this integrated organization is to provide enhanced services to the residents of Delta and surrounding areas.

Counselling and community building in the form of workshops, events, senior support, outreach programs, and information services operate from locations in North Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen.

Parenting is a journey, and nobody’s perfect! 💛

The Punjabi speaking Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program is a welcoming, supportive program for parents of children from birth to age five.

Connect with other parents, share experiences, ask questions, and learn practical tips to support your child’s healthy growth and development.

Build confidence, strengthen your parenting skills, and discover that you’re not alone on this journey. Because every parent deserves support!

Childminding, snacks, bus tickets and/or taxi vouchers available! Group will be held on Fridays Nov 6 to Dec 11, 2026 from 12:15-2:15pm at Hellings Elementary (Strong Start Room).

This group will be in Punjabi and the next English speaking group will be held in the new year. Please email [email protected] with name, ages of children and any questions you may have.

🎁🎄Delta families, seniors, and individuals on low-income are invited to register for a Christmas Food Hamper and attendance at our annual Toy Depot to select gifts for children up to age 18.

❤️ Registration for Food Hamper Only (no toy depot requested) will continue until December 15th.

To complete registration, we require:

Physical Photo ID for applicant and BC Service Cards (Care Cards) for all children 18 and under. (Non-Canadian citizens without Canadian photo ID must include official documents from Immigration Canada.)

Proof of income for ALL adult members of the household Income Tax Notice of Assessment, 2 current months of pay stubs or bank statements.

Proof of your Delta address (phone, cable or hydro bill).

*CORRECTION*

Both Deltassist offices will close early on Wednesday, October 28th for agency training.

The North Delta office will close at 1:30pm.

The Ladner office will close at 1:15pm.

Normal office hours and normal hours for Christmas registration for the Ladner office ONLY, will resume on Thursday, October 29th!

We're hosting our last pop-up market from Earthwise Society for the season today from 10am-12pm at our North Delta office!

Come on down to hear more about all the great work Earthwise does and about good insecurity programs!

They will also be handing out a variety of fresh produce!

Please come out to support Delview Secondary School's Thanks-4-Giving Canned Food Drive on Thursday October 15!

From 6-8:30pm, they will be accepting canned goods, non-perishable items, refundable bottles and will also be collecting cash or cheque donations!

Proceeds will go towards Deltassist and the SURREY FOOD BANK

Deltassist would like to give our deepest sympathies and condolences to those who were affected by the tragedy that occurred earlier today in Tsawwassen during National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

To the families impacted, those in attendance, first responders and the entire Tsawwassen First Nations community, we stand in support with you.

September 30th is National Day For Truth and Reconciliation.

This is a day where we acknowledge and remember the suffering that the Indigenous community in Canada has experienced in the past and continues to do so today.

We are encouraged to wear orange today to bring awareness to our country's past history regarding the treatment of children in the residential school system.

By showing solidarity with the Indigenous community, we affirm that their experiences are valid and that every child matters.
