Cornerstone provides emergency shelter, an outreach program, and supportive housing at four locations in Ottawa.

Our services are tailored to the unique needs of women transforming their lives after homelessness. Cornerstone currently has four operational houses.

Thank you, Terri Lynn! 💛

After 13 years with Cornerstone, today is Terri Lynn’s last day as Senior Program Manager at Eccles.

Her compassion, dedication, and commitment have touched our residents, our teams, and our whole community in ways that are hard to put into words. We’re so grateful for everything she has given to this work.

Terri Lynn, thank you for 13 years of care. We wish you all the very best in your next chapter. You will be deeply missed! 🌸

Last year, more than 1,700 women experienced homelessness in Ottawa.

From jumping into action behind the scenes to dressing up and celebrating in style!

Cornerstone staff are grateful beyond words for the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, and bid to support our emergency shelter.

Together, we raised an incredible OVER $203,000—surpassing our fundraising goal! 🥳🎉

A HUGE THANK YOU TO HEIDI & JOSEPH

For several years, Heidi Rodger and Joseph Cull brought their sparkle, energy, humour, and compassion to the Purple Tie Gala as our beloved co-hosts. This year, they got to sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening as guests!

Cornerstone Housing for Women is incredibly grateful for the time, talent, and heart they poured into hosting our signature fundraising event year after year. They helped make the Gala what it is today, and we feel truly blessed to have had them as part of our journey. 💜

Last night, the baton was passed to comedian Janelle Niles, who kept us laughing and throughout the evening! 🎉
