Last Sunday, AFSS, together with Barev Centre, had the pleasure of bringing our community together for a meaningful afternoon focused on connection, wellbeing, and creating healthier relationships with technology. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guest speaker, Margot Denommé, JD, for sharing her knowledge, experience, and valuable insights on youth wellbeing and digital safety. 🎤
We are also grateful to everyone who joined us, participated in the discussion, asked questions, and helped make the afternoon so special. Your presence and engagement made the event truly meaningful. 🤍

An engaging afternoon focused on building healthier screen habits, strengthening real-life connections, and finding a healthier balance with technology.

We are honoured to welcome our special guest speaker, Margot Denommé, JD. A former Crown Attorney, youth wellbeing advocate, digital safety advocate, and author.

She will share valuable insights and practical tools to help individuals and families build healthier relationships with technology and create a better balance between screen time and real-life connection.

Armenian Family Support Services is pleased to share the following caregiver opportunity on behalf of a family in our community.

A compassionate and reliable caregiver is sought to support a fully mobile senior with:
✅ Meal preparation
✅ Light household assistance
✅ Shopping support
✅ Table setup
✅ Companionship
❌ No heavy cleaning required.

📅 Schedule:
Tuesday to Thursday
🕙 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
(Additional hours may become available in the future.)
Requirements:
• Ability to commute/drive to Richmond Hill
• Arabic and/or Armenian speaking preferred
• Some English knowledge is an asset
