The Méhari is a French car first produced in the 1970s, which has been converted into an electric vehicle by the e-classic brand based in Ardèche, in southern France.
This French version of a golf cart is perfectly suited to Parisian cobblestones thanks to its fantastic Citroën suspension.
Very lightweight, it uses very little electricity, and with the fantastic views it offers in both summer and winter, it’s the perfect vehicle for exploring Paris, its cobblestones, and its narrow streets.
Add to that a Parisian guide who knows the city inside out, and you’re in for a tour that’s fun, informative, and comfortable in this beautiful city!

Travel, you say?

Traveling is about encountering.
It’s not about checking off a list of things to do or see. It’s about encountering otherness, meeting the bearers of a history that is both foreign to us and shared by us, because we are all human, and our societies have, beyond their differences, been shaped by common influences! The fact that the American independence and the French Revolution were separated by six years offers an opportunity to reflect on the broader context in which they took place.
To encounter is to encounter the soul. It goes far beyond cold facts—the size and weight of a building, stereotypes about this or that culture, this neighborhood, that city, facts that become exhausting through their sheer accumulation—but rather the soul, the one that draws from the distant past and still nourishes minds, the one that has built, generation after generation, the individuals shaped by a place. So I say this: one can only truly encounter a city or a culture through those who were born there, who sat at its school desks, who took their first steps there, and who, throughout their lives, have helped build their city just as much as they are its product. When you meet these people, they offer you their uniqueness, their distinctiveness, making you aware of your own. That is what traveling is all about.

Of course, during our tours, we discuss World War II in Paris, collaboration, the Resistance, the commemorative plaques marking the deportation of Jewish children, Manoukian at the Panthéon—once arrested for terrorism, now honored as a hero—and the individual fates of French people from that era, some who made the right choice, others the wrong one. This also provides an opportunity to reflect on the journey of our societies since 1900, when they seemed to have everything, to the wars that led to their downfall.
